Argentina have left Guillermo Canas out of their Davis Cup tie with Sweden, with coach Alberto Mancini pinpointing tiredness.
The 29-year-old has been in fine form of late, beating Roger Federer twice in his last two tournaments and reaching the final of the Miami Masters.
But Canas has been left out of this weekend's tie at the Gothenburg Convention Centre, allowing him to put his feet up for a week.
Mancini revealed: "He got here on Tuesday after a tough tournament. He was tired and did not have many days to get used to the surface."
After his recent resurgence, the Argentinian ace is likely to attract plenty of interest from Betfair punters for the Grand Slam events this season.
Canas may be a player to follow at the French Open, which begins next month, having reached the quarter-finals at Roland Garos twice in 2002 and 2005 - his best display at a Grand Slam.
