Tournament favourite Novak Djokovic is long odds on to see off second-round opponent and fellow teenager, Santiago Ventura, after overcoming Igor Andreev in three sets at the Estoril Open on Monday.
Third seed Djokovic needed two hours and 42 minutes to see off Russia's Andreev in the first round of the competition in a grueling 6-2 4-6 7-6 (7-5) match.
Now, the world number five and 3.7 favourite is hoping to kick on after making a stuttering start to the clay season.
"I'm not so pleased with my form, but I have to look on the positive side," said 19-year-old Serbian Djokovic.
"It was good to get through such a tough match as this one. It can only help in the next round."
Djokovic will now play Spain's Ventura and punters have absolute faith that he will have no trouble making more inroads as he is currently available at 1.11 to back, while Ventura was most recently matched at 10.
