Kim Clijsters has revealed that she may withdraw from the French Open in order to concentrate on her preparations for Wimbledon.
The 23-year-old, who plans to retire at the end of the season, has been struggling with a hip injury since the Australian Open.
The Belgian ace has not played since the opening Grand Slam of the season and although she will return in Antwerp next week, Clijsters may decided to skip the Roland Garros event.
The world number four told her own website: "I have to build in longer rest periods after each tournament.
"It might very well be I'll drop the French Open, so I can be completely fit for Eastbourne and Wimbledon."
The French Open begins on May 27 and markets will appear nearer the time. Clijsters does appear though in the Specials section, with the Belgian currently trading at 1.7 to win a Grand Slam event in 2007.
