January 2009 - Australian Open Betting

The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the year, played on the hard courts of Melbourne Park. In 2011 Novak Djokovic won the men’s event for the second time and he is the big favourite to win again this year. Kim Clijsters won the women’s draw but only goes into this year’s edition as the fourth favourite. You can find plenty of tips on long-term markets and individual matches for this year’s edition right here.

The Australian Open kicks off the Grand Slams every year in sunny Melbourne in January. Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams are expected to be back to defend their titles with British hopes high that Andy Murray can finally win a big one. The team at betting.betfair will keep you up to date with all the latest news from the tournament with betting preview and latest odds on who'll take home the title.
