Splendid was founded in 2003 and since then we have gained an enviable reputation for producing innovative digital products from some of the worlds leading brands such as eBay, Microsoft, Emap, Aston Martin, easyJet, ITV and British Airways.
At the heart of Splendid is our methodology, and what drives this is the end-user, we don't design to follow trends and fads, we design with end user in mind. To ensure we capture the users' needs all of Splendid's design projects follow a user-centred design (UCD) approach. It's a well-established way of creating successful interactive products, based on principles from design, psychology and software engineering. Splendid worked with Betfair in partnership with Microsoft to develop Vista based sidebar gadgets that would enable casual gamers to interact with Betfair and allow seasoned users a way to access their current Betfair activity from their desktop.
