Two storming performances fire Alexandra from third in the betting to hot favourite in the space of one show.
What a difference a week makes.
Last Saturday afternoon Alexandra Burke was third favourite in the X Factor betting with youngsters Diana Vickers and Eoghan Quigg leading the way with Betfair backers.
But then came a double whammy of performances from Burke that wowed judges, voters and audience alike to fire her to the top of the betting.
At [2.24], the 20-year-old is the clear favourite to lift this year's crown with only Vickers having traded lower in the series ([2.10]).
As our unique graph shows, Burke has pulled off a stunning turnaround. Though never out of the betting, she looks to have peaked at the right moment to leap into the lead.

Alexandra has been the most talented singer for weeks and I'm quite happy having taken 3-1 two weeks ago. Diana's voice is too wispy and Eoghan sings sharp.
