Harry Judd's been wowing 'em but will this week's dance suit his moves? Al Dudman covers week 10's best bets

Has Harry Judd danced his way to the title? Not quite yet, but who can bicker with the most sumptious ballroom of the series. The 39 point quickstep was breathtaking in speed and accuracy, it was the near perfect dance - which was expected at the odds last week and in the training videos. Judd trades at [1.62] to land the glitterball, and it's an interesting Saturday ahead for the McFly drummer.

Anita made her exit seven days ago. Despite one or two excellent routines - in particular the Argentine tango, her last two dances were slightly short of the standard required at this stage, and she misses out on the big movie weekend.

Two of my favourite films are 'The Doberman Gang' and 'Officer and a Gentleman'. It's unlikely there will be a routine for the former, which tells the story of a group of bank robbing canines who eventually become so smart they waltz off with the dosh. Brilliant. The other one is the great romance involving Richard Gere and the gorgeous Debra Winger - and I've always wanted to get dressed up in that white uniform myself and perform the 'Mayo' role. Sadly, I think that ship has passed.

We'll start with Harry, who is [2.1] for top scorer in Week 10, and hot from his ballroom, he now switches to the Latin to tackle the rumba. Followers of SCD will know that this discipline has never seen a male gain a perfect 10 in its history. He'll be leading Aliona and he has the sway and lines of a professional. However, for this he needs rumba hips, and his hips let him down in the salsa.

Jason Donovan was the long-time favourite, who has now drifted out to [5.80]. The last two weeks could have seen the actor hit massive scores, but he made a bad error in his 34 point jive, and followed it with a nearly perfect 36 point Charleston.
Again, one mistake let him down, if he gets a faultless round this week, he should gain a 37 plus. He goes in the American Smooth, which involves several complex (and beautiful) lines. He is still a contender despite the price, but remember the judges get very picky at this late stage.

Chelsee Healey is once again is of great interest, as I always like her in the fast dances. Her Charleston, samba and salsa have all been excellent, and the pocket rocket will dance the jive. It should be the perfect match, and she has improved again over the last month. Her chassis' are very good, her kicks and flicks highly adept. It could be the chance to take some of the [4.0] on offer for top marks. She also can be backed at [5.5] to win, she should make the final and there is a good trade on.

Alex Jones had a flat Charleston last week, she'll be better with her American Smooth as she suits ballroom. Don't write her off just yet, whilst Holly Valance has got the Paso, a routine that needs aggression and passion, the two things she has been lacking this series. The actress dances well, but her oomph is missing.

Robbie Savage is back in hold, which is better for him. Last week he was ejected first in the swingathon, and got the lowest marks - yet didn't appear in the bottom two. He might survive again despite the [4.20] price to go.

Week 10 Recommended Bets
Back Chelsee top score @ [4.0]
Back Chelsee in winner market @ [5.50]
