With Kelly Brook leaving the show and Gethin Jones pulling a massive performance out of the bag, it's all change for the glitzy world of Strictly Come Dancing.

While Dixon [1.49] to win has been riding high at the top since the start - the only ever contestant to score 30 or over in every single dance so far - the struggle for top boy has been going back and forth week on week. Now it looks like Gethin Jones [5.2] has sent the middle-age mums into a frenzy, so the final is in his grasp. Like Ramprakash [winner, last year] his forte is the Viennese Waltz.

Di Angelo [6.2] - apparently now not only dancing with Flavia, but flattening her at the weekends too - might suffer for his new love. The voters will be divided in opinion, some seeing the youngster as a bastard home wrecker, others (those who believe Dirty Dancing was a documentary) will be overjoyed that a show like this could provide a beautiful love story starring a handsome soap actor and an orange latin dance expert. No one puts Di Angelo in a corner, etc etc...

Dean [65.0] is in big trouble. Now the worst dancer there, should she collapse into the bottom two again, Bruno and his vicious dancing buddies will surely call time on her days looking strange-shaped in skimpy little dresses. Much depends on whether her other life as Sharon from Eastenders can take her any further. The middle-aged waddler Marie Osmond made it to the recent final of Dancing with the Stars in America solely on the nostalgia vote (her dancing was atrocious). She's unlikely to have picked up any votes from Kenny Logan, but in her favour, if there's any vote splitting going on, it's most likely to be between Gethin Jones and Matt di Angelo.

IMPORTANT BETTING ALERT

The composition of the top three is vitally important to determining the winner. In every series the majority gender in the top three has gone on to win the show, which would suggest that were it a Dixon/Jones/Di Angelo final, one of the boys would win, whereas Dixon/Dean/Jones [or Di Angelo] would mean victory for Alesha.
