In the first of a weekly feature showing the weird, whacky and, perhaps, even informative political clips from around the internet, we take a look at Boris Johnson...
Lets cut right to the chase: is Boris a bumbling buffoon or political giant?
Here, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger - better remembered to me as the Terminator or the bloke who got pregnant in Junior - tells all how Johnson is "fumbling all over the place". You can decide for yourselves...
Now THAT's a nasty tackle:
Maybe Boris should have the following clip on the front page of his campaign's website. After all, everyone likes a good hard tackle - Martin Taylor, Danny Mills and Ben Thatcher eat your hearts out...
Boris on ID cards:
How funny should our leaders be? Is it a trait that we, as the electorate, should see as a positive or a negative? There is no doubt that Boris Johnson is the most overtly jokey politician in this country, and if there is a better example anywhere in the world I am yet to see it.
On ID cards, a serious and drastic measure being considered by the government, Boris cannot help but make his usual jokes. It's funny, no doubt, but perhaps it would be nice to hear what the potential next Mayor of our capital city really thinks and what his alternatives are without wanting to crack up at every work coming out of his mouth...
But at the end of the day, he's entertaining:
Fans of the BBC's Have I Got News For You will never forget Boris' performance hosting the show a few years ago. Nobody can deny he was brilliantly funny, whether or not he was doing it intentionally or the majority were just laughing at him.
And lastly, some people just have too much time on their hands...
A musical take on why we should have Boris for Mayor:

Labour should provide a real opposition to represent the interests of the majority of Britons. Instead, their leader dithers and the Tories look unassailable despite unpopular policies. Meanwhile, what will Occupy Wall Street mean for Obama?...
