Chickendinner don't fancy young Gemma's chances of surviving the seventh elimination...

Now that the prospect of a locust sandwich or a refreshing dip in a swimming pool full of bad-tempered snakes holds little fear for the exhausted campers, the producers last night found a fresh route of torment - by denying one of them the opportunity, for 24 hours at least, to leave. For all their talk of "playing to win," the disappointment on the contestants little faces when they realised they had another day of Janice to endure was writ large.

Janice and the widow Biggins are closing in on a titanic collision for the title, with Cerys struggling along behind as the most likely to make up the final three. She's got a story, been on a "journey", but she's going to get crushed by the professional star power of Janice and Biggins. Gemma and "J", then, should be packing their little rucksacks in anticipation of imminent departure, with Gemma probably having done least to remain another day. The only real variable remaining is whether they manage to do anything on tonight's show to spur voters to save them, but that being the case, J is much more likely to a) do something interesting and b) appeal to the predominantly female votership.
