Katie Hopkins proves a serial failure in Reality TV - but Cerys Matthews looks like a survivor as the jungle vine marked exit beckons for a third time...
Cerys Matthews, a woman of your age and experience really should know never to trust a man called Marc if he spells his name with a "c". Now that immoral Marc Bannerman has been cast out of the jungle, however, it's back to business as usual with the gradual culling of the nobodies, starting with The Apprentice's Katie Hopkins last night. She may have learned all manner of fancy survival skills at her fancy military college, but none of them were of any use when it came to surviving on a television show. Apparently the military have yet to work out how to make 'star power' out of bits of wood and leaves.
So, the process will continue tonight, with Anna Ryder Richardson, [6.4] on Betfair to go, and John Burton Race ([2.46]) most likely in the bottom three again due to their lack of name recognition before the show started, with the only question mark over who the third candidate will be. Typically, it would be the dullards - those who have contributed least to the show - but Gemma Atkinson and "J" Brown have been made to look reasonably likeable by the vile behaviour of the four people who cannot stop fighting (Marsh, Race, Franks, Dickinson). Biggins is safe, so it could be a toss up between Cerys ([16.0]) - if the voting public decide to exercise their new found morality again - or Lynne Franks ([4.8]), because she's not a celebrity. Race is favourite, but best value is the unremarkable Ryder Richardson.
