Chickendinner have got bad news for the Welsh songstress...

No surprises with the departure of Gemma Atkinson, who is presumably now stripping an Australian sweet shop of its entire chocolate offering. The next elimination is a tough one though, and also has significant consequences for determining the eventual winner. With Biggins [50.0] to go and Janice [13.0] given a virtual free pass to the final three, the last place in the final round of humiliation rests between Cerys [1.57 to go] and "J" [2.7 to go].

Last night "J" bravely stuck his head in amongst the spiders, snakes, and for the first time this series, into the personal space of a monitor lizard, but stoicism in the face of phobia has been in plentiful supply this series and probably won't have significantly changed voters' feelings about him. Cerys displayed her beautiful voice while strumming the guitar, but again, nothing to really make anyone think any differently about her, neither is she likely to get a dramatic upswing from old Gemma voters. Cerys was also in the bottom two last night, which strongly implies she'll be next to go.

The significance for forecasting the winner is that apart from series one, the winner has come from the majority gender in the final three. So if Cerys goes, there'll be two men left and Biggins will win, if J goes, the prize, according to tradition, will go to Janice.
