As if it weren't humiliating enough for the vaguely famous participants on I'm A Celebrity to admit by their very presence that they haven't got anything more pressing to do right now, one of them is going to have to deal with the added shame of being the first one voted off.To be first among equals is one thing, to be least among nobodies is another box of tissues entirely.

The first person effectively voted out of the jungle (which is the person who fewest people vote to keep) is traditionally the person with either the lowest profile or the greatest ability to irritate without entertaining.

John Burton Race and Lynne Franks are the biggest spreaders of irritation, but Race is immune and Franks will have her supporters who'd like to see her go a few more rounds with Janice Dickinson.

Which leaves Katie Hopkins from The Apprentice as the least starry presence [2.2] on Betfair to be the first person eliminated. The composition of the advertisers is another big clue as to how the voting is going to go - Garnier Nutrisse, panty liners, Iceland - this is a female audience, who have absolutely no reason to rush to the phones to guarantee they see more of the Hopkins woman.
