"I really ought to back Ivana at [1.36] just to see the back of that stupid orange number she wears. It reminds me of Basildon for some reason."
We have a couple more celebrities up for the chop on Wednesday night, with the live show throwing up two evictions as we creep ever closer to Friday's final. This week we have had chains, pizza and beer, fake tan, sex chat and Lionel Richie - a standard night in for Alan Dudman.
The sixth and seventh evictee markets are screaming that Ivana 'it is what it is' Trump will be saying goodbye. She is the red hot favourite at [1.36] to go on Wednesday evening, and she is nailed on for the exit door. I wouldn't back her at such short odds, but she should be played in all the eviction double/forecast markets to give ourselves a chance of extra mileage in the price.
Ivana is one of those annoying people who wear sunglasses indoors (in January). I have never quite understood that. Nor have I come to terms with her preference for a velour tracksuit. I really ought to back her at [1.36] just to see the back of that stupid orange number she wears. It reminds me of Basildon for some reason.....
I had Ivana down as the next to go some while ago, but the price was never going to be attractive. And sadly - we can't get the surgeon's knife out to make it more appealing. When she goes, the loss to the house will be minimal.
As to who joins her to be the seventh evictee - God only knows. The market is wide open. Initially, I marked down Jonas as a good option at around [4.00], due mainly to the editing this week- as we hadn't seen him do anything for days. He came alive with Dane in the 'snug room'. That could have kept him in, it might not have.
Stephanie I liked, and like a lot, and still like. But I am worried as her tactic to match Vinnie hasn't quite worked out. At [3.00] it seems the public think she will go after Ivana. Her game-playing could well have backfired. As could her strong words on fave Alex Reid.
That leaves Nicola T (T standing for thick). Or maybe she isn't stupid? Perhaps she is just playing the 'thickie' card which has yielded much success in the past for previous contestants. The tree called her 'Bruce Forsyth' this week. I loved it, not sure I love the [3.55] on offer though. Good game, good game for our not so dishy dolly.
Elsehwhere the springer has been Rocky, the Reidanator or simply Alex Reid. The worst cagefighter in the world is clear favourite to win it at [2.18], and I must admit I have enjoyed him this week. His mickey-taking of Vinnie was excellent, and despite his lack of basic common sense, he seems a genuine guy. Vinnie has gone out to [7.18], a quite alarming drift. Has he done 'the Gazza' and grabbed someone by the balls? Hopefully not Alex's, as he missed them during the mammoth spray tan session on Tuesday.
Suggested bets for Wednesday night eviction show:
Back Jonas Altberg [3.75] and Stefanie Beacham [3.20] in the 7th evictee market.
Lay Ivana/Nicola @ [2.80] for eviction double
Lay Nicola at [3.55] for 7th evictee
Back 6th Ivana/7th Jonas @ [4.00] for eviction forecast
