Rebeckah is set for the exit

Heaven rubs up against the housemate from hell in BB's second eviction. So where is Eliot Polak putting his money?

In its dying embers on Channel 4, Big Brother was still capable of rustling up a cracking Celeb version. For Five however, the reverse is becoming apparent. A dire Celeb version has been followed by a surprisingly good 'pleb' series so far.

The central flaw however, as Ally Ross pointed out in the Sun on Tuesday, is that there is little point filling the house with totty, and watching them shiver under the duvet in baggy jumpers. Big Brother, like county cricket and moaning about exams getting easier, is very much a summer sport. Luckily enough, this weekend should see Rebeckah exit the house, and her slavering fans will finally get to see her in the buff on the pages of Nuts. Or in her dayjob.

Rebeckah is a hot [1.27] to be booted out, and her behaviour to date justifies that price. She spends her days oscillating between bitching about her fellow inmates and tenting Aden's confused teenage jogging bottoms. If there are two things that the BB voters can't stand, it's a bitch or a tease. She's both, putting her in a similar bracket as Grace from Series Seven who left to a thunderstorm of boos.

In many ways, this decline is a genuine shame for Rebeckah who actually started the show well. She seemed likable for the first few days, but her unravelling has come astonishingly early.

When Heaven ate dinner the other night, it was an opportunity for the viewers to see bread in heaven. When she fell over on the weekend, it was truly heaven on earth. You get the idea with that one. Being priced as short as [4.0] against a true housemate-from-hell says it all about Heaven. She will get the axe as soon as she comes up against anyone else.

As for the winner's market, Mark is still favourite at [4.7], the new Brian Belo if you like. We think it could be worth keeping a very close eye on Faye however. Girl-next-door types have fared very well over the last few years, and she seems to have exactly the right balance of good humour and humility to go all the way to the final weeks.

The other wise bet may be Geordie Jay to finish top male. Odds of [4.4] seem fair for a pretty likeable bloke.
