Big Brother 10 Betting: Cairon won't bully Freddie

BigBrother08 RSS / Dan Fitch / 18 June 2009 / Leave a comment

It's time for the second eviction from the Big Brother house and Dan 'The Betting Man' Fitch thinks that Cairon will go, leaving Freddie still dreaming of success.

Freddie and Cairon are up for eviction and the good news for the nominated American is that all the housemates think that he's going to survive. The bad news for Cairon is that they're all wrong.

It was all going pretty well for Cairon. He was popular with his housemates, was building a nice double-act with Siavash and generally seemed a cool bloke. The only downside to him was that he's completely unintelligible unless you've watched at least three seasons of The Wire.

Things went awry for Cairon when he lost his temper with Sree and acted in rather an unpleasant and threatening manner. No one likes a bully, even if they're bullying Sree.

Cairon is the red-hot [1.06] favourite to get the boot, with Freddie available at [15.0]. The housemates were shocked that Cairon was nominated, but they'd be speechless if they knew that Freddie is actually now the favourite at [6.0] to win the show.

To be honest, I'm a bit speechless at this myself. Freddie is certainly more appealing than many of the bland characters in the house, but his price seems rather short, considering that he will surely annoy as many people as he entertains.

Halfwit has no real friends in the house and is being picked on, which will probably resonate with an audience who stay in watching telly every Friday night. Freddie's certainly a contender, but he's not good value.

Someone who should also be benefiting from the sympathy vote, but is somehow failing to profit, is Sree. He's been bullied, talks in cute broken English and is now part of the biggest unrequited love story, since Lofty Holloway met Michelle Fowler. Everything should point to him being amongst the favourites.

Instead, there seems to be more chance of him getting it on with Noirin than winning the show and Sree is one of the outsiders at [27.0]. Perhaps this video has put people off him.

Marcus is certainly growing increasingly tetchy with Sree. Then again, Marcus does seem to generally have a tetchy disposition. If this man isn't an IT technician then he's missed his calling in life.

If he keeps this up, he'll be nominated faster than he can say, "Have you tried switching it off and on again?" The price of [22.0] is poor value, for a man who is only notable for having a hairstyle amalgamated from several different types of hairstyle.

The one good thing that Marcus has done so far is to stand up to Lisa. Last week I stated I thought that Lisa was a nice, caring person, but as has often been the case over the years, my evaluation of this woman's character has proved to be completely false.

The domineering Brummie is [44.0] to win and is a certainty to be back in the giro queue, when she is eventually put up for nomination. Also unlikely to be cashing the winner's cheque are the personality voids that are Sophie and Karly.

With three girls gone already, only the bespectacled Noirin at [9.2] and oddball Angel at [12.0] are popular with the Betfair punters. I'm gradually thinking that Angel looks less like Lisa Stansfield and more like Dimitar Berbatov, but if she doesn't start eating soon, she'll be in danger of looking like Lena Zavaroni.

The blokes aren't faring much better. Catty Charlie has dropped to [14.0], while the supposed hunk of the series, Kris at [22.0], is obviously suspected of hiding something under all that hair. Even the likeable Rodrigo at [8.2] has yet to really stamp his personality on the show.

If my money had to be on anyone at the moment, it would be Siavash at [14.5]. He will benefit from his mate Cairon leaving, as it will force him to interact with a wider group of people.

There's one possible problem though. If Siavash wins the final Big Brother vote, his fellow Iranians will probably demand a recount.
