Big Brother 10 Betting: Angel the next to fall

Dan 'The Betting Man' Fitch is flabbergasted that Sree has survived the nominations and thinks that Angel's strange behaviour will see her evicted before Freddie.
As great escapes go, it was like if Steve McQueen had just made it over that barbed wire fence, or if Newcastle United had managed a shot on goal on the last day of the season.
I'm talking of course about the fact that Sree somehow managed to avoid being put up for eviction, despite being backed at a price as low as [1.28] to be leaving on Friday.
Everything was against him, after a week in which no highlights show was complete without Sree babbling away in broken English, in the midst of a massive argument of his own making.
The protagonists of the rows were usually Sree, Marcus and Noirin, as the two alpha males rutted horns, for the privilege of having their heart broken by the Irish beauty.
By Tuesday it seemed impossible that Sree wouldn't be up for the boot and by Wednesday things looked even bleaker, as his nemesis Marcus was made immune from evictions.
However, we should never underestimate just how unpopular Freddie is inside the house. When the live nominations came to pass, it was he who led the way, with seven votes.
Freddie's main crime seems to be that he occasionally uses words of over two syllables and probably listens to Radio 4. This is enough to get the likes of Kris, Dogface and Karly united in their collective ignorance each week, yet Freddie remains the favourite to win the show at [5.2].
Up against Freddie is Angel, who was amongst the favourites to win, but is now available at [42.0]. The Russian picked up six votes, after a week riddled with the sort of behaviour that normally only occurs if your name is 'Paul Gascoigne'.
There's been numerous naked dips in the pool, hunger strikes, snogs with Freddie, dribbling and plenty of good old fashioned lunacy, from Angel. What really did for her though, was the fact that she called a couple of them 'fat'.
If there's one thing guaranteed to get under the over-botoxed skin of a female Big Brother contestant, it's criticising their appearance. Angel has paid the price and is now a [1.1] favourite for eviction, with Freddie at [10.0].
I wonder though if there should really be such a gap in these prices? The Digital Spy poll for the least favourite housemate, has Freddie with just 2% of the vote, while Angel has 2.34%. I think that Freddie will stay, but Angel surely has more popularity than his previous opponents and will run him closer.
Sree lived to talk more nonsense, picking up five votes and is available at [34.0] to somehow survive and win the show. He was also the undoubted star of the live nominations, as he inexplicably appeared onscreen with bright orange hair.
What Sree, Angel and Freddie all have in common, is that they are characters and the show would be poorer without them. Once again, we look in danger of being left with the dullest housemates in the latter weeks, unless the Big Brother bosses devise a way of getting rid of the deadwood.
Top of my list to get the heave-ho would be the odious Kris at [28.0]. Not content with being thick and boring, he's also vain and nasty. His presence is also holding back Charlie at [8.4] from challenging Freddie as favourite.
Last week I speculated how the removal of Cairon would help Siavash's chances and his price has now fallen to [9.4]. He would do well to not get too close to Marcus at [27.0], who could well have been up for eviction, had he been eligible.
Someone who I was wrong about is Karly, who has now fallen to just [13.0] in the betting. She's becoming something of a star in the diary room, especially during the live nominations, when she pulled off an uncanny impersonation of The Micro Machines Man.
And last of all we come to the topless model Sophie Reade, of Playboy fame. Not because she has done anything particularly interesting in the house, but because if I include her full name, along with the words 'topless' and 'Playboy, this article will get double the amount of traffic.
Just be patient and before you know it, she'll be in Nuts every other week.
