Six Nations Betting: Beaten England taken at 1.01 to win
Twickenham in shock after brilliant Welsh comeback win...
England suffered a Six Nations stinger at the hands of the Welsh to leave their fans and backers in a state of shock.
At 16-3 up in the first half England were backed at [1.01] on Betfair to kick their campaign off with a winning start.
And with that advantage, handicap backers were getting stuck in too. Brian Ashton's men were taken at [1.08] to win by more than 6.5 points, and [1.17] to win by more than 16.5 points.
But Wales did not keep to the script and hit England with two second-half tries to blitz the beleaguered home side.
Warren Gatland's team were matched at [75.0] to win.
Earlier on, Ireland produiced a Jekyll and Hyde performance against Italy.
The home team rushed into a 10-0 lead and were backed at [1.04] to cover the -7.5 point handicap and [1.34] to surpass the -16.5 line.
But the Irish could only hang on for a 16-11 win.

Im so proud of the Welsh performance on Saturday.
I think alot of the spirit has come from the fact that we have got rid of the old stagers such as Gareth Thomas and awful porochial Gareth Jenkins. This is a young, dynamic team and there was no way England could justify their 1.28 or whatever they were to win the match. They were a definite lay from the start at that price.
