The Six Nations is the premier international rugby tournament in the northern hemisphere. Always takes place in the Spring with teams alternating between home and away fixtures each year. Used to be the Five Nations until Italy joined England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and France in 2000 (you can see where it got its name from now can't you!!).
