After several years of working in the City, latterly with Baring Securities, I lived in Vietnam for three years.
Returning to the UK in 2000, I took a serious career change and headed into the world of horseracing. I worked for 5 years as Assistant Trainer to Paul Webber, and then wrote for The Sportsman Newspaper through 2006 both as features writer and Lambourn correspondent.
Following the demise of the paper, I returned to Paul Webber for the '06/'07 National Hunt season. I have spent much of 2007 working towards gaining my Racehorse Trainer's licence, which I was granted at the end of November. I have been given a dual purpose licence, and will start with a team of 20 horses.
