Ralph Porter bought into Event 9's short handed hold 'em after busting out 72nd in Event 3's Omaha Hi/Lo, where he cashed for a little over double his $1,500 buy in. He confirms he's no 1 trick pony as he gets his first bracelet and 10th cash in WSOP events.
The final hand had Porter with almost a 3:1 chip lead calling second place finisher, Nathan Templeton's, all in with KcQs to find himself dominating Templeton's Ks9d.
With no glimmer of hope coming down on the board Templeton walks away with $231,981 to ease his pain while Porter gets his second 6 figure sum from the WSOP of $372,929.
