Tiffany Michelle In Trouble At Main Event

Tiffany Michelle, broadcaster for Pokernews played in a few events this WSOP but it was not until the final event of the year, the Main Event, that she made a deep run. She finished the event 17th, close to the infamous delayed final table, and earned $334,534. Whilst her performance has granted her a lot of respect in the poker world, her recent sponsorship deal has been met with controversy.

After she started doing well in the main event, she could be seen brandishing the Ultimate Bet logo. This caused a huge stir with Pokernews, who were soon to release a statement on the subject. Their argument is that because they bought Tiffany into the main event and she was under a player contract with them, any new sponsorship that they were happy for her to take on would have to be decided with them. Due to various reasons Pokernews did not want their logo or any of their representatives involved with Ultimate Bet, and as a result are now considering legal action.

Opinions are that as she has failed to make the final table she will gain less media attention and therefore less chance to show her sponsorship, legal action will most likely not happen.
