Sorel out with cracked KK - WSOP Event 5

News RSS / nono / 05 June 2008 / Leave a comment

Betfair Pro Sorel Mizzi busts out in 81st for over $8k, after getting KK cracked by K8 all in preflop.

Sorel was nearly out on the bubble when his flush draw on the turn was called by two pair, losing him more than 50k in chips.

What looked like a lifeline was thrown to him just into the cash when his KK was called by Bill Baxter's K8d but a flop of all diamonds saw Mizzi head to the sidelines.

Phil Ivey out just after him in 80th.
