As we come close to the half way point at this years WSOP, we look at the players who have been most successful so far.

Barry Greenstein and Erick Lindgren are tied at the top with the most POY points, 185. They both have won a bracelet and have had 4 cashes to date. Hot on their heels is Daniel Negreanu who with a bracelet and 4 cashes of his own this year, is on 170 points.

This years leading money winner is Phil Galfond with $832,219, most of which came from his bracelet win at in the $5k PLO w/Rebuys event. Grant Hinckle is a very close second with $831,462 and Nenad Medic third with $810, 608.

With lots more events to come and lots of side bets going on, you can expect the pros to continue dominating this years POY race.
