Betfair Pro, Sorel Mizzi, ran into trouble on the last hand of Day 1 in the Pot-Limit Omaha W/ReBuys Event 34 and was eliminated just outside the money.

Thing could have been different had players not been stalling making decisions towards the end of Day 1, so much so that Sorel had to call the clock on a player in the small blind after he raised, which came back to haunt him.

Having called a raise and seen a 3-way flop, Sorel bet pot on a QJ9 rainbow flop only to be raised all in with the 3rd playing folding.

The clock was very quickly called on Mizzi by Makovsky and the floor person upheld the call.

Sorel eventually called with his set of Jacks only to be dominated by the wrap around nut straight..

With no further improvement Sorel exited and Makovsky enters Day 2 as chip leader.
