Matt Keikoan wins the $2,000 buy in event 7 after a heads up battle lasting 67 hands and 2 hours, taking home $550,529 for his victory. Matt first cashed in a WSOP event back in 2004, where he came 11th in a $5,000 Limit Hold 'Em game and now has 6 cashes in the Hold 'Em events.

Shannon Shorr came second for a not insignificant $349,141 but never really played back at Keikoan and was apparantly not getting the cards or hitting a flop as Keikoan got a commanding 12:1 chip lead before the final hand.

Eventually Shorr had to make a move with Ts6h and Keikoan called with Ks5s and with no help for Shorr (although an eventual full house for Keikoan) it was over.
