Coming into the final table, Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi had a healthy lead with nearly 1.8m in chips. He would be involved in nearly all the big hands, eliminating 5 of the final 9. He came short of his first bracelet however after getting it all in with As Kc 5c 3s against the Ah Ac Qs 8c of Peter Jetten. Mizrachi flopped a pair but could not improve and was eliminated in third place for $331,280. Here are the chip counts going into heads up play.

Peter Jetten - 4,250,000
Marty Smyth - 3,335,000

On a flop of Qc Tc 9h both players got all the money in the middle. Jetten showed Ks Jd 3d 2c and Smyth tabled Kc Jc Js Qh. Both players had flopped the nut straight but Smyth had the advantage as he was re-drawing to a flush. The river brought the 6c and Martin Smyth is this years World Champion of PLO, winning $859,532. Smyth has previously won The Irish Open where he took €650,000 for first place. Jetten won $528,257 for his second place victory.
