Each player started with 100,000 chips for the third annual $50k HORSE event and with 90 minute levels meant that few eliminations would happen. There were some exceptions however, with big names Phil Hellmuth, David Williams and Amnon Filippi all hitting the rail.

This years pay out structure has been extended slightly to allow prizes for 15th and 16th place. This means that everyone at the final two tables will come away with a win. This has meant that first place is slightly less than last year at 'only' $1,989,120.

As you might expect in such a distinguished event there have been some tough table draws. The biggest rail magnet was Table 13, which housed a multitude of talent both old and young.
