Eric Brooks won the World Championship of Seven Stud in the $10,000 buy in WSOP Event 14. He saw off 157 other contenders to win $415,856.

The final hand was quite dramatic with the lead going back and forth between the hands after the money was in.

Brooks led with 5's to, second place finisher, Fu Wong's 4's before improving his lead with two pair Aces and Fives only for Wong to catch one of the remaining 4's on 6th Street.

Four diamonds and two pairs gave Brooks a number of out and catching the 5th diamond on the river meant Wong would have to pair one of his cards to stay alive, but it wasn't to be and Wong ended up taking the long walk as Brooks posed for the photos.
