His feud with Feldman runs deep and stems from when Feldman outed Schwartz's user name on Betfair Poker, which led to nobody wanting to play him and his action drying up.
A number of months ago, a player appeared out of nowhere at the high stakes No-limit Hold'em tables and proceeded to not only take on the biggest names but also beat them too.
Forums were full of the posters asking the same question, "Who is this Fullflush guy?" It turned out the answer was a Mr Luke Schwartz, an extremely aggressive, trash talking heads-up specialist who feared nobody at the tables.
Never one to bite his tongue, Schwartz tried his best to wind up the likes of Tom 'durrrr' Dwan at the tables and soon became a love him or hate him cult figure amongst the railbirds watching the biggest games online.
One fellow pro who bore the brunt of his tirades and who has come in for some heavy criticism on Schwartz's blog and in interviews he has taken part in is Andrew Feldman. His feud with Feldman runs deep and stems from when Feldman outed Schwartz's user name on Betfair Poker, which led to nobody wanting to play him and his action drying up.
Many wanted to see grudge match between the two but it was extremely unlikely to happen but the Poker Gods have a strange sense of humour and decided to draw them together during a heat of the 2009 Late Night Poker series!
The show will not be aired until September 8 but if initial reports are anything to go by it should make epic viewing. The two young guns were joined at the table by Hit Squad member, Ram Vaswani, Dave 'El Blondie' Colclough, Mark Goodwin and Sammy 'Any Two' George.
Although the outcome of the heat is shrouded in mystery due to the producers trying their very best to keep things a secret, it has been revealed that Schwartz and Feldman were the last two standing and had an epic heads-up battle despite Feldman starting with a 6-1 chip deficit. I for one can't wait until the show airs on Channel 4.
A big shoutout needs to go to Betfair's very own Annette Obrestad who managed to win her heat to stake her claim in today's final. Answering a fan's reply on Twitter, Annette said, "Wasn't super tough, but got quite lucky in one hand where I most likely woulda busted had I not hit. After that, pretty ez."
Best of luck to the 2007 World Series of Poker Europe Champion.
