Mystery of the missing poker client

Well, it's been another week and to update on the Pacific/888 Poker front, somehow, mysteriously their poker client has been removed from my desktop and now it doesn't let me reinstall it.

I can't even find it in the control panel / add remove software to remove it and reinstall it. This is a huge coincidence! Will try their live support again to see if they can help in this matter, I'm pretty sure we will end up with another comical and irrelevant conversation.

The last week, in terms of my $1k --> $100k challenge, has been profitable but incredibly swingy. I had a few days where I dropped $7k+ and managed to pull it back. Scary stuff but at last I am at the halfway mark. When I first started the challenge, although I was hopeful at the start I knew it was incredibly difficult and I would need some luck to get this far.

Getting to the half way mark is a huge personal accomplishment and I am looking forward to the last three weeks of it.

I think the best plan, in order to spend less time playing over Christmas, is to continue playing $10-20 on Betfair and take a couple of shots at $25-50. If I do well and win a couple of buy-ins, I will just spend the last two weeks grinding at $2.5-5 and $5-10 to keep it at minimum risk and wind the challenge up slowly.

I am not sure it's best to play higher as it could easily wipe out the bankroll.

So for the next few weeks I'll keep jumping between $2-5,$ 5-10, $10-20, and if I feel brave and lucky 25-50 and hopefully I can complete this challenge and take Annette's money. For once!
