The other day was the end of my first two weeks in the $1k to $100k challenge. Unfortunately I struggled the last week at 0.5-1 for some reason, I was doing great then went through a pretty bad stretch of variance.

Luckily, however, I hit good form in the MTTs for the BMF quest. My bankroll is now at approximately $9750. My target for the 2nd week was $10,000, so I am back on track. One thing I am disappointed with so far is the amount of hands I've played. I have only played approximately 40k hands the last two weeks. I think in order to stand a chance I am going to have to play a considerable amount more over the next few weeks, especially as my opponents abilities should be increasing which in turn should mean increased variance, the only solution is to play more to even it out. I am going to start playing 1-2nl now, and hopefully within a few good days take some shots at $2.5-5. The challenge is getting exciting now!

Apart from being a monkey grinder on Betfair Poker, I have started playing some more tournaments in the evenings to improve my MTT game as I feel I have been concentrating too much on cash. I have been doing pretty good and thought I would share a hilarious hand I had the other night. I still can't believe it. You must keep in mind that I hadn't been overly active as I was playing around 9 other MTTs, so was playing pretty solid-ish.

Looooool, how funny is that? The subsequent chat was pretty hilarious, after I asked the guy if he misclicked or allowed his pet to play the hand for him he wittily replied, "I had a tell on you so knew you were bluffing." LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Yea, the first time I've 3 barrel bluffed on FTP since I started playing there and what about small pocket pairs that I turn into bluffs there? So fking moronic. Some people are so braindead it is beyond comprehension.
