I didn't win the GSOP Manchester as planned, in fact I was only in it for three hours, but at least I have an appearance on Late Night Poker to look forward to instead.

Overall the tournament was pretty standard and interesting hands ere in short supply. One hand that you might like saw me and a a kid bluffing each other with nothing. One guy limped, the button raised to isolate him and the small blind kid re-raised to isolate him. I now re-raise the small blind and everyone folds back to the small blind and he re-re-re-raises me! I fold and he shows me a two! I had nine-six by the way!

Another hand ended with me running queens into an aggressive kid's aces where I did a bunch of my chips and then a few hands later a guy who just couldn't stop making moves on me opened and I only had like 20 or so big blinds so wouldn't usually three-bet fold and this guy was brain-dead so I three-bet and called when he jammed. I had ace-king and he had queen-jack, hit a queen and that was that. I stayed in Manchester for a few days, played some £2/£5 cash games, which were the highest that were running, and played on Betfair Poker where I have been running really good, which is good, though I did lose the biggest pot of my life on Tuesday but I can't really speak about that as it was a private game and I want to be invited back!

On Tuesday 23rd I am filming Late Night Poker in Cardiff and it'd be so nice to win it. My line-up is epic, I've got like Luke Schwartz, James Dempsey, Andrew Feldman, Liv Boeree, Ross Boatman, Padraig Parkinson and I think a qualifier so it's going to be good. The way they have worked it this year is the top two from each heat go through, first takes 50,000 through to the final and second takes 30,000, which is the equivalent of 150bb and 100bb respectively. I just hope and pray that I one-time go through to the final because I always finish third in these tournaments! We are playing to 20 minute blinds, the equivalent of every six hands, so it's a super crapshoot super turbo but it would still be nice to win it!

I think that is all for now, I'm going to go and search for some fitness classes, possibly yoga, and I will update next week on how Late Night Poker goes. I cannot reveal anything that will let you guys know who goes through but there should be some cool hands that I can tell you about!
