I was so glad to shave off the hairy caterpillar but it was for a great cause and Betfair raised more than £36,000 for the charity

I thought it was about to update this blog so here I am typing away at the airport whilst I wait to board my flight to Las Vegas! I am looking forward to better weather, plenty of parties and clubs and of course playing poker.

Online poker has been going well over the past week, especially my marathon session on Saturday that saw me win more than 16 buy-ins and I am more than 21 buy-ins up ($12,500 - ed) over the past week and I put that down to the new RAT gaming mouse I bought. I posted on my Facebook page "Could this be the game changer? Beginning of an upswing!?" and it seems to have done the trick. However, on Sunday my computer decided to go mad, which is so tilting, so I haven't played much since then. I will have to sort it out, or should that read get someone to sort it out for me, when I get back from Vegas. It is quite the coincidence that online poker has been going so well at a time that I completely did my brains in a private live game, but more on that at a latter date.

I have been really looking forward to my latest Vegas trip for a while now, I just love the place. It should be great to catch up with some old friends like Antonio Esfandiari, eat at my favourite places like in the Wynn and go to some great parties, thankfully without my ridiculous moustache I grew for Movember, I no longer look like a Persian terrorist! I was so glad to shave off the hairy caterpillar but it was for a great cause and Betfair raised more than £36,000 for the charity, of which nearly £3,000 came from my poker friends so again a massive thank you. A big thanks to everyone who donated to the cause but no thanks to Mr David Underwood who created the "John Tabatabai's (Kunku Wap) Moustache must stay page" on Facebook. Hahaha.
