Settling Your Poker Debts

PROFESSION poker player John Doucet was convicted for underreporting his gambling winnings in 2004.
He repaid the US government with the proceeds from 300 one-ounce gold coins that he purchased with player's club points at a shop in Mohegan Sun.
As the ever influential The Day, Connecticut, reports, Doucet failed to file tax returns on time in 2002 and 2003 and did not report his gambling winnings in 2004, according to the government.
But a deal has been cut, things down in camera, and he can repay his debts in gold.
Good for him that the price of gold is high.
And it gets us thinking: have you ever settled your debts in something other than cash?
