It wasn't Betfair pro bloggers Annette or Sorel who lasted longest in the Bluff Europe Magazine Freeroll 2008 but their more prolific colleague Yorkshire Pud.
The popular Yorkshire-based blogger finished a creditable fourth in the $2,500 mtt to win $160 in a tournament played in a tremendous spirit and enjoyed by those taking part as well as the many railbirds taking advantage of the observer chat feature.
POKERENERMY finally took down the tournament after just over four hours play beating a determined microsoft. Third place went to cjg. with our own YorkyPuds next in the money list.
Annette once again drew plaudits for her calmness under constant questions, insults and marriage proposals from the railbirds. Asked about the new Betfair software she said in her usual candid and honest manner: 'It's is getting there:"
After a slow start, the Norwegian flirted briefy with the leaders at the mid-point before slipping behind and finally being caught out in a bluff to go out in 34th place.
Sorel was never really in the hunt going out in the early stages when his A8 shove failed to hold up to a number of callers who were all eager for the $250 bounty on his head. Credit to the Canadian who came back to wish the final tablers well just before that started.
But it is Yorkshire Pud who should take the centre stage for a tremendous effort - despite being told halfway through the contest in the chatbox by that Annette she doesn't read his blog!
Well stacked until halfway, his chance of taking a strong chip lead was thwarted by his opponent picking up an ace on the river leaving him 20k chips lighter.
Intelligent play saw him miss the scramble on the bubble, but he still entered the final table relatively short stacked and was thankful of a nine on the river to make his set when behind and six players still remained.
To read more of his progress and how he coped in a four hour tournament without a toilet break.

Hiya, the $10 + $1 90-man SNGs are definitely beatable. The main differences I could see between the $3 are: less crazy horses in the first half hour meaning that it is less likely you can double up from a donkey early.
Also more stealing later in the tourney, so tougher to find good spots to raise pre.
If you have a go, good luck!
