I am sorry if I am starting to sound like a stuck record but my God how quick this week has passed! I think it is because I am so jacked up on caffeine at the moment that everything is passing by at lightening speed. My wide pupils have scoured over plenty of blogs this week and each of the ones mentioned today are all from outside of the UK.

The first blog I have to mention is that of Kancho, who lives in North Carolina. Sometimes you read or hear about somebody else's situation and it makes you realise either how lucky you actually are or how much we moan about things that shouldn't really matter. Kancho, a 43-year old bloke, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Burkitts-Like Lymphoma, which in layman's terms is a bloody nasty, aggressive cancer. Now I know this is a poker blog but I think everyone should read this and take note how he never once asks for pity or seems to feel sorry for himself. We could probably all learn from him. Best of luck with your battle mate.

Another blogger from the USA is Badblood who resides in South Carolina. He recent post entitled "Turning Things Around" really caught my eye for some reason and I think it is more than worth a few minutes of anyone's time.

I like writers who tell it how it is and speak their mind and one blogger who dies this is Katitude. I've been a long-time lurker of both this and her previous blog mainly because she has a love of poker and motorcycles like my good self. Anyway, her post from April 30 made me laugh. I must warn you that is mentions a word that rhymes with duck but starts with an "F" several times which may make it NSFW!

If the Poker Gods (amen) ever need to shine down on a player then they should chose my mate Starlight Coast. I first "met" Jim around six or seven years ago on one of the first forums I ever visited. We were both promoted to moderators and got chatting on a regular basis via MSN. Both Jim and his Mrs have had some terrible luck in the past but I am sure it is all about to change as Jim is now following his dream of playing poker full time. He's currently at the micro-stakes but I know he will be at $5/$10 soon enough!

Last but not least is Betfair's very own Dave Allan! Dave, who is a Scouser living in Berlin, keeps a blog called Red White Germany. It initially started out life as a blog about a small, local football team but has grown to house a multitude of topics. I particularly like how he describes himself as being the Baby King in his recent post, "Happy Families."

That's all for now folks as the toilet is actually free to use. Out of the four of us in the house, three have the trots. Lovely!

As always, thanks for reading, best of luck at the table and have a great Bank Holiday weekend!

Hey, TY for the mention! Although I don't know how anyone could call my blog a pokery one anymore *grin.

What do you ride? Just got the bike out last week, and already am getting antsy for our trip to Newfoundland this summer.

    Thanks for stoppping by.

I don't actually ride as I broke my wrist the week before I was due to take my test and my circumstances have changed so I can't afford a bike yet anyway.

I'm more into my naked bikes rather than the sports bikes though, more of a cruiser and back-road blaster than someone who does track days and the like
