I've been delving deeper into the blogosphere this past week or so and have uncovered a ton of new blogs, some of which will definitely be mentioned in the coming weeks. As is usually the case, this week's round-up is another mixed back, so let's get on with it.

First out of the bag is a blog that everyone should have heard of, and if not then there is something amiss, the blog of Bill Rini. You can tell instantly that Bill is an extremely intelligent guy and all of his posts grab your attention from start to finish but his most recent article, "Is Online Poker Really Doing Well?" should really be read be each and every one of us who play this ridiculous game. Once you have read that one I suggest you bookmark the former Party Poker Poker Room Manager's blog and check in regularly for a lot of inside news, views and gossip.

As someone who has been part of the blogging scene for close to five years (yes I know I need to get a life), I have seen dozens of blogs close their doors as the owner has simply had enough. On Sunday 6 September, Rosie of Girlie Poker wrote her last entry, which incidentally was her 400th post. I've mentioned Rosie on here before because I like her style of writing and I for one will be sad to see her leave but all is not lost as she is going to continue blogging about her other passion, food! Thanks for the entertainment Rosie, don't delete the blog, just leave it there just in case.

I don't know how I managed to come across this next blog but I am glad I did, that's for sure. The blogger OneGreenChip keeps a blog by the same name, written from Dallas, Texas in the ol' U.S of A. He currently plays micro and small stakes but by reading his lengthy posts it is very clear that he's going to be moving up to bigger and better things in the very near future. A lot of people dismiss the lower limits of poker, thinking they are full of droolers but there are some very solid, thinking players there, OneGreenChip is one of them.

Every now and again in the poker world there seems to be an awful tragedy. In recent times we've had bloggers and players mourning the deaths of their poker playing friends, there was the high-profile suicide of Brandi Hawbaker and this month another young women took her own life, the former girlfriend of Cardrunners pro, Brymstar. I can't do the post justice, so just follow the link to read about this terrible waste of a young life.

Now that I've depressed you all, I think you need cheering up. The next blog was on the blogroll of one of the new blogs I found and at first I thought it was a wind-up but it turns out it is 100% legit which makes it even more LOL! A bloke by the name of Robbo Kramer is the co-founder of a company called Inner Confidence which give coaching into flirting with women so that you can, and I quote, "effortlessly draw beautiful women into your life and bed." Worth a read just for the laugh!

Well, I think that is all for now. Time for a coffee me thinks. Don't forget to follow the WSOPE updates as the first bracelet event gets underway at 1200 UK time, oh and a happy 21st Birthday to Annette Obrestad!

As always thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
