On the move again
Pud's Poker Progress

I need to double check with my parents but I am sure I have some gypsy in my family tree somewhere across the line. I moved out of the family home eight years ago and so far I have lived in eight different houses! I am now about to make that nine houses in eight years!
It's been the same story for a couple of years now, take a tiny roll, build it to something semi-decent and withdraw back to a tiny amount. Now I know that I can leave my roll alone, maybe I can focus properly and start to make this stupid game pay out even more.
Mrs P and I have been looking to move for a while now, mainly because we hate Dewsbury with a passion for a few reasons. We're also unhappy with our current house and the fact the landlord only cares about receiving his massively over-priced rent each month.
Last week we were offered a new house, which we went to view yesterday. I was expecting it to be in a right state as each of the houses I have had in the past, with the exception of the one I bought from new, have been bomb sites when I have moved in. Thankfully, this one isn't actually too bad, it's clean and whilst the décor isn't exactly to our tastes, we will be able to move in right away and decorate at our leisure rather than having to re-decorate before we move our stuff in.
We are going to use this move as a complete fresh start with everything. We both need to stop smoking (again), get fitter and get some savings behind us. One of the bonuses about moving is the rent is almost half of what we pay now so we should have some extra funds available each month and more money equals a much less stressed Pud.
I was apprehensive about moving at first but now I am actually looking forward to it and I think my poker game will actually start to develop too. Obviously new surroundings won't be reason but being more financially secure should. I have lots of work right now and this coupled with the new lower rent should mean that I no longer have to dip into my bankroll for life stuff.
You may recall that earlier in the year I had a couple of deep finished in MTTs and had a roll of around $1,500 but had to withdraw this to cover some bills. It's been the same story for a couple of years now, take a tiny roll, build it to something semi-decent and withdraw back to a tiny amount. Now I know that I can leave my roll alone, maybe I can focus properly and start to make this stupid game pay out even more.
It looks like I'll be without the net for a couple of weeks so I won't be playing and this also means I'll either have to take Mrs P's laptop into McDonalds to do some work or travel to the Leeds offices of the company I do work on behalf of. Probably safer and cheaper to drive to Leeds as I'd just sit and stuff my fat face in Maccy D's!
Talking of cars, I'm having trouble with mine. One part of the alarm keeps going off at random intervals so I tried to remove it rather than fork out £60 for a new one. The problem is it is behind one of the wheel arches so I needed to take off a wheel to get to it but I have discovered my wheels have a locking wheel nut on them and I do not have the key!
I took the car to a Vauxhall dealer who tried to find a matching key but alas, they didn't have one. They have kindly offered to grind them out for £65 but warned they can take an hour each wheel! No thanks mate! So for the next few days I'll be scouring the net and various car part shops looking for matching or similar keys. FML as they say.
Well I'll leave it there for now. As always, thanks for reading and best of look at the tables!
