Whilst I have lacked quantity in my play so far this week, I've certainly made up for it in quality and I am progressing nicely. Playing $5.25 HUSNG is never going to make anybody rich but if I continue in the same vein, then I should be moving up stakes by the end of the month.

My anti-tilt technique is nothing ground-breaking, all I have been doing is walking away from my PC when I have lost to a particularly bad beat or if I've not played particularly well instead of just firing up another game and carrying on

I thought my poor run was going to continue when I had lovely bullets cracked in one of my first couple of games but with my new anti-tilt technique I managed to keep my composure and carry on playing what I feel is close to my A-game.

My anti-tilt technique is nothing ground-breaking, all I have been doing is walking away from my PC when I have lost to a particularly bad beat or if I've not played particularly well instead of just firing up another game and carrying on. So far the results have spoken for themselves and I've felt calm and collected at all times during my matches.

I was particularly pleased with how I controlled myself and adjusted to my opponent during a series of games early on Monday morning. By early I mean around 0300 UK time! I sat with a player who had a -2% ROI over a sample size of 200 or so games so I was looking forward to claiming the prizepool

However, a few ill-timed calls and bluffs saw him beat me but thankfully he must have thought I was a donkey because he accepted my rematch request, then proceeded to beat me again! FFS! I knew I was the better player and just had to adjust to his weird style of play, which I did to finish up beating him 3/2 for a small profit.

Since my last entry I have played 26 HUSNG with an ITM of 61.5% leading to an ROI of 17.2%. Whilst not sustainable, IMO, I do believe 12-14% could be if the early match ups are anything to by and coupling this with rakeback should make for a relatively healthy profit come the end of the month.

My body clock seems to be starting to get back to normal so hopefully I can log more volume in the remainder of the week as there have been a couple of times this week where I have had the opportunity to play for a couple of hours but I've been so tired I've gone to bed in the early evening. Logging volume has always been a problem of mine and one I need to address to make the push to the next level.

I've been running a little better at life too, which makes a refreshing change. Mrs P received some money she was owed so we decided to look for a new sofa as this one is buggered. Anyway, she found a three-seater leather sofa for £165, reduced from £350 and the reduction was for a day only. Usually we miss out on these sort of deals so it was a refreshing change. Oh and I've just got back from swimming where I managed not to swim into a shower of child vomit in the baby pool, can't run better than that!

Big shoutout to Rossi who recently joined the Daddy Club and a mention for Glynda Fish who is currently on an epic downswing after running 12BI or €750 under expectation in 8k hands of NL50!

That's all for now. As always thanks for reading and best of luck at the tables!
