ANNETTE OBRESTAD learns how to play Omaha and comes third in her first ever WPT event
Betfair prodigy Annette Obrestad aka Annette15 has shown once again her prowess at the poker table, this time at Omaha. Having recently shown an interest in Omaha Annette decided to test her newly acquired skills at the World Poker tour in Barcelona. With a tough field of over 100 top poker professionals including Marc Goodwin and Juaha Helppi Annette brushed them aside to take home 16,600 Euros for third which should just about cover her shopping trip she has planned for Vegas this year.
Although this pales into insignificance compared to the £1,000,000 she took home last year at the World Series Of Poker Europe it has shown her versatility and ability to learn new variants of poker at a frighteningly quick rate.
Annette is still perfecting her overall game so that she can be considered amongst the greats in years to come. With two years to go before she can enter any WSOP Vegas event she has a lot of time to practice and get even better at other variants of the game. Betfair would like to personally congratulate Annette on this tremendous accomplishment. Although not as significant as taking down the World Series Of Poker Europe Main Event last year, it is another success to add to her forever growing list of accomplishments.
