Has Isildur1 gone bust?

Some may say it was inevitable but it appears that everyone's favourite hyper-aggressive Swede, "Isildur1" has finally busted one of his online accounts.

Over the weekend "Isildur1", thought to be Viktor Blom, sat at four $300/$600 pot-limit Omaha tables with Brian Townsend and at one point had his entire account balance in play. Townsend rallied early on and was up to the tune of $300,000 but "Isildur1" finished strong and booked an $80,000 victory.

His win was made even more sweet as he lost a massive pot worth over $220,000 during the session. Townsend raiised preflop to $1,800 prompting "Isildur1" to make it $5,400. Townsend obviously liked his hand and made another raise, this time to $16,200 which "Isildur1" called.

A flop of Ks7c7h saw "Isildur1" check-raise Townsend's $13,200 continuation bet to $37,600, which Townsend call. When the 8c arrived on the turn the pot was over $107,000 and "Isildur1" moved in for his last $57,798and once again Townsend called showing AsAc8s2c to the mystery Swede's JcTd7d3c. "Isildur1" was ahead with trip sevens but Townsend hit one of outs, the ace of hearts to claim the $223,197 pot with his full house.

After losing $432,000 to Townsend in a later heads-up battle, "Isildur1" sat with his last $70,000 and took on Townsend's fellow Cardrunners pro Cole South and quickly lost the entire amount before re-depositing and sitting at six tables with $20,000 at each.

Obviously tilting from his epic downswing, "Isildur1" lost the majority of the $120,000 he had in play and logged off to lick his wounds. Then on Tuesday he sat with his last $31,000 and once again Cole South sat with him, taking just 15 minutes to felt "Isildur1" when his jack-high straight prevailed against the Swede's ten-high straight.

So where does this leave "Isildur1" who is now over $2,200,000 down since he first appeared at the high-stakes games, with the majority of his losses coming from pot-limit Omaha. His fellow high-stakes players refuse to play him at no-limit Hold'em so he may have to continue to play PLO and claw back some of his losses. Only time will tell if "Isildur1" will make a return to the biggest games online.
