Alex "AJKHoosier" Kamberis

Poker legend Doyle Brunson has added a fifth member to his ever-growing stable of poker stars by accepting Alex "AJKHoosier" Kamberis into the Brunson 10.

Over the next few months, Brunson is aiming to assemble one of the best groups of young poker players, ten male and two female, in a play on his famous Ten-Two hand that he won back to back World Series of Poker Main Events in 1976 and 1977 with.

Already representing Brunson and the poker site he is affiliated with are Chris Moorman, Amit Makhija, Dani Stern and the nephew of the late Chip Reese, Zachary Clark. This would have been the sixth member added but Alec Torelli, who was one of the original three players to join, left last month to help start up a new poker site with some of his friends and poker playing peers.

Alex Kamberis is one of the most respect and feared online poker tournament specialists in the world. The 2008 Card Player Online Player of the Year has online earnings of over $4,000,000 and has recently started to make the transition to the live arena, where he has around $150,000 in winnings to his name to date.

When Kamberis won the 2008 Online Player of the Year award he did so with a record points total, which prompted him to take the majority of 2009 off from both the live and virtual felt to enjoy the fruits of his success. Part of his gigantic points total came from reaching the final table of the WCOOP Main Event and winning the Super Tuesday outright.

Kamberis is making his début in Brunson colours at the $25,000 High-roller event at the LA Poker Classic, the first of many live events he plans on taking part in this year, commenting, "I'm going to remind people that I can play."
