No Point To The Ladies Poker Association

RSS / Editor / 22 November 2007 / Leave a comment

THE Casino Anorak discovers The Ladies Poker Association. For those who like to watch ladies playing poker you can find out more here.

The aim is, as the site says "RECOGNISING POKER IN WOMEN". It is about "SERIOUS WOMEN - SERIOUS POKER".

Serious women can meet other serious women in a serious environment. Exciting stuff.

But poker is not serious. It is a game. And it should be about enjoyment.

The aim is for a Ladies Pro Poker Tour. Why is this needed?

Should women be treated any differently? Other than a marketing gimmick to create money for the LPA, where is the value in a Women's WSOP - WWSOP?

As Betfair readers know, the WSOPE champion and Betfair columnist is one Annette Obrestad, aka Annette 15. A woman. Who beat men and women to become a champion.

If there are to be women only contests, should there be contest exclusively for men?
