Million Dollar Pot on High-Stakes Poker?

Rumours are rife that Jamie Gold and Patrik Antonius have been involved in the largest ever pot on GSN's High-Stakes Poker.

Eight players with more than $5m between them of their own money sat down for filming in what is undoubtedly the biggest TV cash game in history.

Forum chatter tells us that in a particular pot Antonius called an all-in bet from Gold but we are left wondering whether this could indeed be a million dollar pot. This would require that neither player was short-staked - otherwise the pot would be a mere several hundred thousand.

Not something for the feint hearted but these guys can afford it. Antonius has been a regular in The Big Game for some years now and (although he had to share his winnings) Jamie Gold won $12m at the Main Event of the WSOP 2006.

Gold is not widely regarded as a "great" player - something he freely admits - but he does say that he intends to be "the greatest bluffer in the world." This might turn out to be rather an expensive bluff.

Check out this video which shows the largest ever pot (so far) in High-Stakes Poker.
