The first ever weekly $100k GTD has been won on Betfair Poker by alias: "michaelg2".

The weekly $100k tournament has added value to the Betfair Poker room so that there are now $4m in GTD tournaments every month.

The $555 buy-in deep stack tournament takes place on Betfair Poker every Sunday at 1830 (GMT).

"We already have some of the biggest cash games available on the internet and we want to be able to offer our customers regular higher value and larger buy-in tournaments," said Betfair's Director of Poker Bruce Stubbs.

"We are also offering a good range of qualifiers for the $100k, including freerolls, to ensure that everyone on Betfair has a chance of playing."

Qualification satellites are currently available in the Betfair Poker lobby for the weekly $100k tournament.
