EPT Sanremo: Day 2

Sanremo is wonderful. People, food weather and everybody is happy to host this competition. Texas hold'em is becoming huge in Italy.The Casino is packed with people trying to make their way to the tournament or asking the press how a certain player is doing. It's really exciting!

The tournament has seen many pro's early departures, including Sorel, but there are still few of them left running for the EPT and quite few experienced 'live' players too.

There are 29 Italians, the day re-starts from level 10, (ante 100, blinds 500/1000) with a chip average of 31.928 and as I said, many big guns had to leave the first EPT event of the history in Italy.

Today is a big day for one of the Italians. One of the most online promising and aggressive players alive, admirer of Annette and Sorel, Dario Minieri.

You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife. Everybody was focused and nervous including Dario who after winning a huge pot couldn't kept in the Italian passion and fine, starting screaming and juming around the table. He ended the day as chip leader and fully deserved it.
