Sanremo EPT: Day 1B

Still sunny in the beautiful Sanremo also know as the city of flowers. Unfortunately our pro, Sorel Mizzi, is out but we still have 3 players left.

The second day started well for our 3 players:

Spencer from England, Mika from Finland and Ivar from Norway.

They all made it to the 5th level before the dinner break.

Ivar had a stake of 5.000, still very confident but chips where really running out for a coming back. He went all in and lost it to an Ace high leaving the table with a sarcastic smile.

Mika was on average with 10.000 chips sitting with a couple of hot Italians ... one of them is known as 'El Diablo' ... the Devil. He played well but had really bad luck when a player got a FULL HOUSE on the flop. He had the better hand; AQ and the other player had J6. on the FLOP you won't believe... 2J and a 6 come out. BAD BAD BAD LUCK! He started losing ground and eventually left the table during the 5th level.

Spencer was cruising with nearly 20.000 chips. He had a good chance to make it when the only pro player in his table went out. He proudly represented England by being the last qualifier to leave the tables. He was really comfortable and was 'Chip Leader' for a quite a while. But he went out when he dared, with 4000 chips, to challange a player with 60.000 with a J4 in his hands. The player had AQ and till the river ... nothing happened :( ... our last Betfair player went out.

We have no players left but lot of excitiment was going on today. A great day of poker!
