ON the forums, Harry's Mate wants to know "Your worst moment in poker?"
To kick things off: "Mine was November 21st 2005 on here playing 5-10 NLH cash dollars not pounds. I had played for 4 hours gradually building up to 6500 and had decided to call it a day when I get dealt AA on cut off and thought I'll raise big, win the blinds and go to bed happy. I raise to 50, BB re-raises all in with a stack bigger than mine.
"I'll never forget contemplating folding as I had that horrible feeling. How can I fold though?
"I call and he shows AK unsuited. I still had that horrible feeling as BF told me 'dealing the flop', 10, Q, 6 rainbow. 'FFs no way', dealing the turn, 8. I looked away as I KNEW the jack was the next card even before it was dealt.
"Never can I have felt so low when the thought turned to reality and my oppo types 'oops, sorry'. I couldn't reply and slowly turned the computer off and sidled off to bed for a good night's sleep."
It was always going to be a bad beat... Get out while you're ahead - or take a chance..?
