ALL hail the High Heels Poker Tour. It's the first all-women's poker tour on the East Coast of the United States.
It sounds dreadful. Poker is for men and women. The cards are the same for one and all.
What kind of women only want to play poker against other women? And who would pay an annual $30 fee for the honour of belonging to a group of sexists?
The tournament was created by Failla Lauren. Says she: "Many women want to play poker, but they feel intimidated playing with men. I hope that I am able to bring more women to the poker scene."
But why not just play online, where you can be whatever you like, man or woman? Or get over yourselves and play with men?
"This is a niche in the market," says Lauren. "Only 6 percent of the people who play in poker tournaments are women because it's a male-dominated sport. But I want to change that."
She fails to say how many of those 6 per cent are aged between 35 and 38, weigh less than nine stones and have older brothers called Troy.
But they too are key demographics, and very possibly groups underrepresented in the wider poker world.
As such, the Poker Anorak today launches the OneLeggedIranianManInBlueBowTie Tour.
It's what the market has been waiting for...
Play online as John Jane, Mary, Marty or Tony Blair...
